Why too many buttons create confusion
When every action is primary, the visitor has to design the journey themselves.
Book, call, WhatsApp, download, subscribe, and donate on one screen feels helpful. It asks the visitor to decide what the organisation thinks is important.
A strong page has one next step for the main intent and quieter paths for the rest. A church visitor may need service times first. A member may need the bulletin. Those are different pages, or a clear split, not six equal pills.
Removing a button is a product decision. It forces the organisation to say what this page is for.
